Sold with attribution to John Harris Ekin Sandford, of Moneymore, County Derry, who won it whilst a student at Guys Hospital in 1913. He served in the Great War as a Captain with the 4th Bedfordshire Regiment in the 63rd (R.N.) Division. With research including a copied group image of the officer of the 4th Beds. in September 1917.
