Only seven Naval Engineers’ Good Conduct Medals were awarded during the medal’s short existence 1842-46.

Note: The recipient’s original medal, sold at Glendining’s in November 1933, formed part of the Captain K. J. Douglas-Morris Collection of Naval Medals.
