George S. Dawson attested for the Coldstream Guards and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 15 August 1915.

Bryan Smith was born in Welham, Leicestershire, and attested for the Coldstream Guards at Market Harborough. He served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 30 November 1917. He is buried in Gouzeaucourt New British Cemetery, France.
