Reginald Perry is shown as residing in California in the M.M. entry in the London Gazette. His Medal Index Card and medal rolls show service with 1/6th Battalion, Welsh Regiment and 14th Battalion, Welsh Regiment, and not 14th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. He was also entitled to the General Service Medal with clasp N.W. Persia for service with the Royal Berkshire Regiment.
