A German Second War Luftwaffe Flight Bar in Silver for Bombers.
A very nice example of the silver grade of the Bomber Bar, Tombak construction, non maker marked, complete with its wide tapering pin, original hook and hinge. Good frosting remaining to the tips of the laurel leaves on the central wreath. Good silver finish in the lower areas of the oak leaves on each wing, the tips of the leaves slightly rubbed. In a case with lettering gilded to the exterior slightly obscured ‘Frontflugspanger fur Kampflieger Silber’, the case slightly later, very good condition £140-£180
