Signals Records letter, 14 April 1947, addressed to the recipient at the same “Braziers” address and confirming medal entitlement; together with silver I.D. bracelet, three card identity discs, and ‘Acme Thunderer’ whistle, medals generally good very fine or better (9) £100-£140
Sold with Medal Index Card for George G. C. Garrard which shows that he served in France from 18 September 1914, and was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers on 8 August 1915. Also on ‘Refusal List SWB 8.5.17’. The Card indicates that his British War and Victory Medals should have been named ‘2.Lt.’
