Claud Greenwood was born in 1916 and attested for the Royal Army Service Corps at Leeds on 13 April 1939. He served with them during the Second World War with the British Expeditionary Force, in the Middle East, in North Africa, and with the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, and saw further service in post-War Palestine. He transferred to the Royal Army Ordnance Corps on 1 November 1952, and was discharged on 17 November 1962, after 23 years and 219 days’ service.

Sold together with the recipient’s Regular Army Certificate of Service; Army Council notification of pension letter; and two photographs of the recipient.
