Bristol Humane Society, a white metal award medal for Long Distance Swimming, unsigned, legend, rev. wreath, named (Frank Hancock, Swam 1/4 Mile, 1909), 44mm; Fencing, a bronze award medal, unsigned, standing lady fencer with epée, other ladies parrying at sides, rev. wreath, named (The Desprez Challenge Cup, A.L.O.F., Competition, 3rd Prize, 1931), 51mm; St Dunstan’s Lawn Tennis Fund, silver award medals (2), by A. Clark & Co, one named (Arden Lawn Tennis Club, Winner 1932, Eric Barber), both 32mm; Household Brigade, a bronze award medal, unsigned, two soldiers in front of a view of Edinburgh Castle, rev. engraved (Inter-Bn. Swimming Relay Cup, 1949, 1st, The Life Guards), 50mm; together with other sporting medals (4), for bicycle polo, athletics, etc [9].
