Class IV, Canterbury (2), Goldwine, goldwine:on:ca, 1.32g/11h (SCBI 1020); Meinir, meinir:on:cant, 1.33g/9h (SCBI 1022), obvs. from the same die [2]. First pierced and cracked, otherwise good fine, second with centres almost flat and legends partly corroded, otherwise fine, both rare (£40-50)

The Sylloge entry states the Lawrence provenance as lot 1004, Doubleday’s ticket having been misread
