Alexander Wilson was born in 1894 and served with the 2nd Battalion, Gordon Highlanders during the Great War on the Western Front from 7 October 1914. He was killed in action on 16 May 1915 at the Battle of Festubert; he has no known grave and is commemorated on Le Touret Memorial, France.
