M.I.D. London Gazette 28 May 1918: ‘Capt. (A. Maj.) F. L. Hesson, 78 Can: Inf.’

Frederick Leopold Hesson, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, served as a Major with the 78th Battalion during the Great War, and was killed in action on the Western Front on 24 August 1918. He is buried in Hillside Cemetery, Le Quesnel, France.
