James III, Groat, Base silver issue, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, tressure of eight arcs, rev. mullet in first and fourth, thistle-head in second and third quarters, double saltire stops both sides, 1.93g/10h (SCBI 35, 749ff; cf. B 7, fig. 578; S 5270). Portrait partly flat, otherwise better than fine but chipped £200-£260
