Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Shilling, 1642, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, small bust, three Oxford plumes above Declaration, date below, reads legi, colon stops both sides, 6.32g/12h (Morr. B-4 var.; SCBI Brooker 924-5; N 2439; S 2971). Fine but with some surface corrosion, rare £240-£300
