Warwickshire Regiment, 1st Volunteer Battalion, an extremely fine and scarce Victorian officer’s dark green cloth helmet, the QVC cross pattern helmet plate in blackened brass, central strung bugle horn with unit title in surround, original red felt backing to centre, all other fittings in blackened brass including the ribbed pattern chin chain; possibly the helmet of a field officer as there is provision for attaching cap lines, very good condition £500-600
