A Pauldron for the left side, from a cuirassier armour, circa 1620, of three articulated plates,with recessed borders, brass covered dome-headed rivets, the main plate embossed with a volute front and back, the rerebrace of four sliding plates, all principal edges turned and roped, retaining two buckles for original leather straps, some old damage and repair and lacking some rivets, otherwise good condition £200-250
