Vernier, taken from the working plaster of his famous medal, British soldier wearing helmet, advancing right, rifle at the ready, 222mm (cf. CGMP p.387; cf. DW 24, 157). A superb and softly sculpted medal, extremely fine; mounted for display in a plain gilt frame (£150-200)
