Offensive Britannique, 1917, a large uniface cast bronze medal by S.E. Vernier, taken from the working plaster of his famous medal, British soldier wearing helmet, advancing right, rifle at the ready, 222mm (cf. CGMP p.387; cf. DW 24, 157). A superb and softly sculpted medal, extremely fine; mounted for display in a plain gilt frame (£150-200)
