Queen Christina, a struck bronze medal, by (or after?) M. Soldani-Benzi, her laureate and loosely draped bust to right, rev. Roma seated to left, holding Victory, POSSIS NIHIL VRBE ROMa VISERe MAIVS, 61mm (cf. Clifford 248). Large neat piercing, very fine (£70-100)

The Clifford catalogue points out that whilst the design of the seated Roma is Soldani’s, the dies may well have been engraved by Guglielmada
