Edward VI (1547-1553), Shilling, mm. tun, inner circles obliterated by tooled striations, set in a silver collar flush with the obv. but proud of the rev., both sides of the collar engraved ‘3’ at 12 o’clock (North, SNC April 1975, p.149, this piece). Very fine, a very rare and interesting gaming piece (£150-200)
