James III (1460-1488), Groat, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, tressure of eight arcs, trefoils on cusps except at top, t l by neck, rev. cross before vil, annulet and three pellets in first and fourth quarters, mullet of six points in second and third quarters, double saltire stops both sides, 2.58g/4h (SCBI 35, 743-4; B 3, fig. 568; S 5265). Some surface deposit, nearly very fine (£250-300)
