James II (1437-1460), Groat, Edinburgh, class III, mm. crown, saltires by neck, crown with trefoils, rev. crown before vil, crown in first and fourth quarters, saltire and three pellets in second and third quarters, 3.48g/3h (cf. SCBI 35, 704-8; B 29; S 5236). Traces of corrosion on reverse and lightly scratched both sides, otherwise very fine (£150-200)
