James I (1406-1437), Groat, First fleur-de-lis issue, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, tressure of eight arcs, lis and two saltires on bust, saltire and i by neck, i on sceptre handle, lis stops, rev. one small and three large pellets in first and fourth quarters, lis and pellet in second and third quarters, lis in centre, lis and double saltire stops, 2.32g/10h (SCBI 35 –; cf.
