James I (1406-1437), Groat, First fleur-de-lis issue, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, tressure of eight arcs, two saltires on bust, i by neck and on sceptre handle, rev. three pellets in first and fourth quarters, lis in second and third quarters, saltire in centre, lis and saltire stops, 2.25g/2h (SCBI 35 –; B 1a, fig 425a; S 5195).
