Æthelred II (978-1016), Penny, Last Small Cross type, Canterbury, Leofstan, leofstan on cænt, variety with bust right, 1.25g/6h (SCBI Mack 1066, this coin; BMC 39; N 780; S 1154A). Several peckmarks and flan split at 1 o’clock, otherwise very fine and toned with a good portrait, very rare £300-£400
