British Iron-Age, DUROTRIGES, Uninscribed series, silver Stater, degraded head of Apollo right, rev. horse left, pellets above, crescent and coffee-bean behind, lines and pellets for tail, 5.36g (CCI 10.1146; ABC 2163; BMC 2647, 2661, 2728-31; VA 1246; S –). Good metal, very fine, the reverse well-centred and clearly showing the horse’s head, scarce £150-£180
