Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Secondary series J, type 85, diademed head right within beaded circle, no legend, rev. linear bird right on cross with annulet at each horizontal end, trefoil of pellets below each annulet, 1.06g/6h (Abramson 18-20; M 293ff; cf. N 126; S 802). Small metal flaw in field before face, otherwise very fine and dark-toned £150-£180
