Eadmund (939-946), Penny, Two Line type [HT NE1], Grard, eadmvnd rex, rev. grar dmoi in two lines divided by three crosses, trefoils of pellets above and below, 1.53g/9h (SCBI BM –; CTCE –; N 688; S 1105). Minor scuff in obverse field, otherwise good very fine and toned, extremely rare, the moneyer unrecorded in the main references £600-£800

A moneyer Garard(es) is recorded for HR1. His coins bear little stylistic resemblance to the current specimen
