Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen, Denton’s Halfpenny, 1797, ancient fortress, rev. jb cypher, edge plain, 6.25g/6h (DH 1). Struck over a Lutwyche imitation Halfpenny of John Wilkinson, 1794 (DH Warwickshire 463); light spotting on reverse, otherwise extremely fine with original colour, rare £400-£500
