Henry VI (First reign, 1422-1461), Trefoil issue, Groat, class C, London, mm. crosses IIIb/V, trefoils on cusps at shoulders, leaf on breast, trefoil after rex, pellet below tas and don, double saltire before don, 3.83g/9h (Whitton 37a; N 1499; S 1910). Flan slightly ragged between 12 and 1 o’clock, otherwise very fine and toned, rare £150-£200
