Æthelred II (978-1016), Penny, First Hand type, Norwich, Leofing, livinc moneta nordpic, alpha and omega transposed, 1.56g/12h (SCBI E Anglia 1141, same obv. die [= RCL 671]; BEH –; N 766; S 1144). Cracked on inner circle between 3 and 5 o’clock and chipped at 5 o’clock, otherwise fine, rare £150-£200
