French Interest, First Empire period (?) an ornate multi rayed brass pouch badge with central display of the mantle and insignia of the Legion d’Honneur, four pierced brass fasteners to reverse; an Imperially crowned heavy brass multi rayed star with central display of the Eagle astride crossed cannon barrels, mounted on original leather backing, appears to be a harness badge; Third Empire period, three other ranks brass shako plates one dated 1865, crowned eagles upon thunderbolts etc, pierced central discs 4th 93rd and 96th Regiments, some crushing to the 4th plate otherwisegood overall condition (5) £100-150
