36th Middlesex Rifle Volunteers (Paddington), a very scarce officer’s or Senior NCOs pouch belt plate c1861-1884 in cast bronze a large circular QVC back plate of laurel sprays and seeded central reserve, this with circular plated mount inscribed ‘36th Middlesex Rifle Volunteers’ within a shield in gilt metal bearing the arms of the borough, a mural crown upon crossed swords, two screw fasteners to reverse and still mounted on a fragment of the black leather pouch belt, dirty but in sound condition; 16th (The Queen’s) Lancers, a good quality last Victorian pattern other ranks brass chapska plate, one screw fastener missing otherwise good condition (2) £200-250
