On his portrait photograph Primrose is shown wearing the Distinguished Flying Cross, 1914-15 Star, British War and Victory Medals with M.I.D. oak leaf, General Service Medal, G.V.R. and King Faisals’ War Medal.

The record of aerial passengers lists several flights taken by ‘W. Churchill’ and records several crash landings and fatalities. The ‘History of the Airborne Forces’ covers the period 1940-45 and provides an excellent resource for this branch of the Armed Forces.
