George henry White was born in Kensington, Middlesex and living at Ilfracombe, he enlisted at Exeter. Serving with the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 22 December 1914, aged 19 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial.
