During the Boer War, L. W. Roberts served as a Corporal in the British South Africa Police between 11 October 1899 and 21 December 1900 and as a Lieutenant in the 63rd Company (Wiltshire) Imperial Yeomanry from 14 April 1901 to 13 February 1902. He was dangerously wounded at Diepfontein, Orange River Colony, on 27 September 1901. All clasps confirmed; sold with copied research.
