Jethro Blackwell was born in Ashton, Essex on 9 November 1873 and entered the Royal Navy in 1894. He attained the rank of Acting Chief Stoker in 1910 and Chief Stoker in 1911. Blackwell was discharged in 1919. Sold with copied service papers.
