Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, dated reverse, 1 clasp, Tel-El-Kebir (2658 Pte., 2/R. Ir. R.) ; Khedive’s Star 1882, unnamed, first with slight edge bruising and contact marks, very fine and better (2) £140-180

William Lynch was born in the Parish of St. Peters, Dublin. A tailor by trade and having served in the County of Dublin Light Infantry Militia, he enlisted into the Royal Irish Regiment in 1880, aged 18 years. He served in Egypt, August-December 1882; Malta, April 1884-January 1885 and India, January 1885-June 1886. Sold with copied service papers.
