Frederick Tolfts was born in Enfield, London and enlisted at London. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Rifle Brigade. he entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 7 November 1914. He died of wounds on 9 September 1917 whilst serving with the 12th Battalion Rifle Brigade. He was buried in the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery. Entitled to clasp.
