Lord John Williams was born in Hornsey, Middlesex and enlisted in London. Serving as a Bandsman in the 1st Battalion Manchester Regiment, he entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 27 August 1914. He was killed in action on 20 December 1914, aged 21 years. having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial. Entitled to clasp.
