Mark Brian Shaylor was born and resided in New Hinksey, Berkshire and enlisted in Reading. Serving with the 1st Battalion Berkshire Regiment he was killed in action aged 28 years, France / Flanders, on 1 August 1915. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial.

Stephen Wickens was born and resided in Tilehurst, Berkshire and enlisted in Reading. Serving as a Lance Corporal with the 2nd Battalion Berkshire Regiment he was killed in action, France / Flanders, on 25 September 1915. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial.
