Private C. O. Waples (Warples), 1st Battalion Liverpool Regiment, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 12 August 1914. He was later transferred to the Machine Gun Corps. Entitled to a silver War Badge.

Private J. D. Waddell, 10th Battalion Liverpool Regiment, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 1 November 1914. He was later discharged ‘unfit’.
