Private H. E. Pudney, 6th Dragoons, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 8 October 1914. On 10 May 1918 he was transferred to the Machine Gun Corps.

Private W. Parfitt, 7th Hussars, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war with the Royal Horse Guards on 7 October 1914. He was transferred to the Royal Engineers in 1917.
