Trumpeter Charles Frederick Batholomew, 2nd Dragoon Guards, son of Sergeant-Major C. F. Bartholomew (late 3rd Bn. Royal Sussex Regiment) and Mary Bartholomew, of Kilkenny, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 15 August 1914. He died on 10 February 1919, aged 25 years. He was buried in Les Baraques Military Cemetery, Sangatte.

Private A. Ranson, 3rd Dragoon Guards, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 31 October 1914. On 29 February 1916 he was transferred to the Machine Gun Corps.
