Trooper J. Patterson, Royal Horse Guards, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 31 October 1914. He was later transferred to the Guards Machine Gun Regiment.

Private J. W. Greenland, 1st Dragoon Guards, entered the France / Flanders theatre of war on 11 November 1914. In 1917 he was transferred to the Labour Corps.
