Sold with the original Médaille Militaire award document, dated 27 May 1920 (Journal Officiel de la République Français, 23 Octobre 1920). Document inscribed, ‘Bon et brave soldat. Mort au service de la France au cours du combats d’Artois de fin 1915.’ Sold with modern photographs of the War Memorial at Châtillon sur Indre, France, upon which his name is listed.
