1914 Star (2842 Sjt. M. Keogh, Ir. Gds.) good very fine £60-80

Michael Keogh was born in Clontarf, Dublin and enlisted in Dublin on 14 October 1907, aged 19 years. He served with the British Expeditionary Force from 12 August 1914 to 9 July 1917, receiving a gun shot wound to the leg in April 1915 and a gun shot wound to the right shoulder on 4 July 1917 at Ypres. He was mentioned in despatches London Gazette 4 January 1917.
