Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, no clasp (5774 Pte. R. Bland, 2 North’d Fus.) later impressed issue, contact marks and polished, about very fine £20-30

Bland, who served in the 2nd Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers, appears not to have claimed his Queen’s South Africa Medal, with clasps for ‘Cape Colony’, ‘Orange Free State’, ‘South Africa 1901’ and ‘South Africa 1902’, until April 1921; a second Medal also appears to have been issued in May 1932 (accompanying roll details refer).
