British South Africa Company Medal 1890-97, reverse Rhodesia 1896, no clasp (3845 Pte. G. Moore, 7th Huss.) slack suspension, polished and edge bruising, otherwise good fine £250-300

Private G. Moore was wounded in action at Uwini’s (Shangani) on 9 September 1896. Of the 1230 Imperial Troops who were engaged in suppressing the 1896 rebellion, only six were wounded during the campaign, which ended on 27 October 1896.
