Robert Cornish is confirmed on the roll as a Private, Royal Marines, aboard the Tonnant at Trafalgar. He was born at Kentisbeare, Devon, and attested for the Royal Marines at Exeter on 21 April 1801. He joined the Tonnant in November 1804 and was present in that ship at Trafalgar on 21 October 1805. He later became a Corporal and was promoted to Sergeant on 20 May 1809. Sold with copies of relevant musters.
