British Linen Bank, £100, 28 July 1933, serial number N/3 1/5, two manuscript signatures, the two usual folds and additional handling, but a superb and original good very fine, and an exceptional note in this condition, furthermore, this is the number 5 note for this date and prefix!
PMS BL 63, Pick 155 £1,800-£2,200

This note comes with the original envelope in which it was held in trust at the Brechin branch in 1938, and the deposit slip from the day it was left there. The contents were of course unknown to the bank.
