Bank of England, Henry Hase (era of), a group of proofs and other individual engraved elements, including two sheets of varying size by E.G.Perkins, featuring a classical bust and various friezes and engine turnings, two reverse proof elements by W.Lea and B&W. Lea respectively, and a vertical format piece entitled ‘An Attempt to Prevent Forgery of Banknotes’, dated 4 June 1818, generally in excellent condition, good very fine or better, the larger of the two first pieces folded several times for ease of storage (5 items)
